David Tietmeyer

Video Division Manager

David Tietmeyer produced the City's first program

in 1984 and was hired part-time in 1985, moving

to a full-time position in 1986. David established

the Video Division and has dedicated his career to

gathering and providing information to our community

and residents.

 

He graduated from the Detroit Center for Creative Studies with

a B.F.A. in Photography. He was a SWOCC intern and a volunteer

at WNMU, a PBS station in Marquette, Michigan.

 

David participates in youth ministries and the Farmington Public

Schools� Mentoring Program. He is also a member of the

Michigan Broadcasters and Media Communications Association

 

 

 

 

Paul Cischke

Paul has joined Channel 8 team and has brought a wealth of

experience with him. Paul started his career editing commercials

for cable companies and has edited hundreds of 30-second

commercials spots.

 

Paul has also worked on many PBS programs, including

The 21st Century Wood Doctor, a program about all the art of

working with wood;  Golfing the Great Lakes, which showcases

all the great golf courses in Michigan; and Great Lakes Ports O� Call,

a show that featured towns and ports along the Great Lakes.

 

Recently Paul has also worked as a camera operator and editor on

such PBS shows as Sesame Street, Am I Right?, Leaders on Leadership

and American Black Journal.

 

Jacob Nothstine

Video Production Specialist

Jacob has been working for Channel 8 since 1998.  He graduated

 from Ferris State University in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science

degree in Television Production.   Jacob enjoys the diversity of

shows that he is able to produce for Channel 8 which include

programs on nature, senior adults, history, the arts, youth,

and concerts, as well as special events sponsored by the

City of Farmington Hills.  Outside of work, Jacob enjoys 

photography, kayaking, snowboarding, Skiing, camping, and

woodworking.
